
The FLiB´s qualification offer "certified checker of air-tightness of buildings in the sense of energy saving regulation” is adressed to engineers, technicians and others with similar qualifications, which are able to demonstrate their practical knowledge in air-tightness measurements. A membership of the FLiB is not neccessary.
How to prove your practical knowledge:
five measurement protocols of self conducted air-tightness measurements or
two measurements accompanied by two persons already certified by the FLiB or
participation in a training course acknowledged by the examination board [in German]. In order for the measurement protocols to be accepted for the examination, a comprehensible documantation [PDF in German] of the measurements must be provided.
The certification exam is chargeable [PDF - in German] and consits of two parts, theoretical lasting two hours and practical lasting one and a half hours. Both parts can be done on the same day or two different days. The object for the practical exam can be chosen freely. The rules of examination [PDF - in German] will provide you with more details.
The number of participants on the examination dates is limited. The order of the arrival of the completely filled out applications [PDF - in German] at the agency of "FLiB e.V.” in Kassel is decisive.
