Our aim: better constructional quality

By means of special qualification programs, the "FLiB” wants to contribute to the building of more and more perfectly air-tight houses and in doing so to reach the quality the home-builders are entitled to.

Since the beginning of 2005 craftsmen have been able to qualify themselves by completing the course: "Specialist in Sealing and Insulation Work in Buildings". The independence of the course-content is guaranteed by the association "FLiB" together with "Fraunhofer Institut für Bauphysik” and the "Demonstrationszentrum Bau und Energie der Handwerkskammer Münster” (demonstration center building and energy of the chamber of craftsmen Münster).

Already since 2002 providers of air-tightness measurements have been able to acquire the title of a "certified checker of air-tightness of buildings in the sense of energy saving regulation”. The aim of the offer is to guarantee to the best of their ability a uniform realization and consequently the same standard of comparison for air-tightness measurements.
