In April 2000 an association for air-tightness in buildings (Fachverband Luftdichtheit im Bauwesen e.V. – or "FLiB” for short) was established. It was founded in the context of a new energy saving regulation (Energieeinsparverordnung) which was discussed at that time. The association has ever since become a central source of information about air-tightness of buldings, especially among experts.
Thanks to an extensive internet data bank the association has grown into a research address often used by those who need appropriate services or products.
In the following pages you will find out about the objective, fields of work and structure of the association and access details about membership. You will also find more information about the association´s currently running projects under the column "press” [in German].
